Why are you wanting to do this in C?  What is it about your set-up that
means that you can't (or don't want to) do it in ECLiPSe?  It's hard to
offer helpful advice without knowing more about what you're trying to
achieve and why.

In any case, messing about with a variable's domain in C is definitely not
recommended, for many good reasons.
