mkdir(+Path)
Create a directory/folder with the given name.
- Path
- An atom or a string.
Description
Used to create directories (folders) in the filesystem.
Path may be an absolute or relative name.
Modes and Determinism
Exceptions
- (4) instantiation fault
- Path is not instantiated.
- (5) type error
- Path is neither an atom nor a string.

[eclipse 1]: mkdir(tmpdir).
