You can connect multiple Java processes to a single ECLiPSe process. Using
the RemoteEclipse class, you can connect as a different user, on a different
machine.

Note, however, that ECLiPSe is not multi-threaded itself in any case, so you
cannot connect the different Java processes to a different ECLiPSe thread,
so it might not be suitable for what you want.
