Subject: [eclipse-users] XPRESS-MP licensing problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Sender: owner-eclipse-users@icparc.ic.ac.uk

Hi Everyone,

I have been sitting on this problem for several days:
I am trying to use the OEM XPRESS-MP solver that is
included with Eclipse 5.7_66. I followed the
installation instruction and added the following line
into lib/eplex_lic_info.ecl:

	?- get_flag(hostname, H).
	H = "nautilus"
	Yes (0.00s cpu)

	licence('nautilus', xpress, '1427icp', default, 0).

However, every time I try to :-lib(eplex_xpress), I
get a warning:

	empty_language.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.00
seconds
	linearize.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.01
seconds
	notify_ports.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.01
seconds
hash.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.02 seconds
	constraint_pools.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.01
seconds
	loading XPRESS 1427 ... done
	eplex_standalone.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.08
seconds
eplex.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.09 seconds
	eplex_xpress.eco loaded traceable 0 bytes in 0.09
seconds
Eplex warning: No licensing information available.
Use lp_get_license/2 or update license info database
	/usr/local/eclipse5.7_66/lib/eplex_lic_info.ecl

And if I run the lp_example(Cost) program in the
manual, Eclipse will just crash.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Huy
