Logtalk 2.18.0 is now available for downloading from the Logtalk web site: http://www.logtalk.org/ This version features several optimizations, including caching of method lookups, greatly improving performance. From the release notes: * Added caching of method lookups in order to improve message processing performance (including messages to self and super calls). Applied several optimizations to runtime translation of messages in order to further improve performance. * Improved error checking while parsing and compiling messages to self. * Update ECLiPSe config files to compile the Prolog files generated by Logtalk (when compiling source files) in optimized mode instead of traceable mode. * Updated description of patches needed for running Logtalk with XSB, added a shell script for easy integration of Logtalk with this Prolog compiler, and corrected a problem with its corresponding config file. * Added multifile/1 directive to the syntax coloring configuration files of the supported text editors.
