Hi Oliver,

I am unable to reproduce any crash or other unexpected behaviour with
the code you sent. I have run your program on ECLiPSe 6.0 (both
tkeclipse and tty eclipse) on my Windows XP laptop and on a Linux box.

Can you send more details of your problem: the exact version of ECLiPSe
6.0 you are using, and more details of what happens during the crash. If
you were using tkeclipse and the window simply disappears, you should
try running DosECLiPSe instead, as this might provide more information
about the crash. [Better still, run ECLiPSe (the traditional tty
version, equivalent of DosECLiPSe) from within a shell in Un*x]

Cheers,

Kish
