Please see the installation notes that came with ECLiPSe. For Unix/Linux systems, these are in the file README_UNIX. For Mac OS X, they are in the file README_MACOSX.
For Windows, the installation process is usually via an automatic installer. Instructions for manual installation can be found in README_WIN.TXT.
Please note that choices made at installation time can affect which options are available in the installed system.
