Hi Ludovic,

It sounds like what you're looking for is the suspend/3 predicate.  Have a
read of the User Manual chapter on "Advanced Control Features", in
particular the sections "Explicit supension with suspend/3", "Waking
conditions" and "Demon Predicates".
