Compiling k_puzzle.pl

Hi all,

compiling the program example k_puzzle.pl on my Windows 2000 computer I
have this error:
    file k_puzzle.pl, line 49: syntax error: postfix/infix operator expected
| 	A #< C, A #< H, A #< L, A #< S, A #< Q,
|            ^ here

Why? Any solution?
