Hey Caroline,
You can catch an exception which will return "null" if there is a failure.
To check on this, you can
catch(Exception e){
     System.out.println(e);
}
and you will recognize a "com.parctechnologies.eclipse.Fail" exception
shown, else if it will return in a compoundTermImpl the result of the query.
