It is difficult to know precisely what you are doing with such a small 
fragment of code (and only your Java code), but the error message you 
are getting indicates that there is no data available on your 
eclipse_to_java_formatted stream. The most likely reason is that you did 
not write (or at least did not flush) the data on the ECLiPSe side. This 
is shown by the example. Did you try the example out to see if it works?
